Many people complain that the sublimation paper dry so low during the sublimation printing, and this problem is serious because it will waste a lot of time. As we all know, time is money, if this problem can’t be solved, the cost of production will be hard to reduce. Here are some factors that may influence the drying speed.

1. The sublimation paper

The quality of sublimation paper is an important factor that can influence the

drying speed. Different factories have different formulation, so the coating is different. For example, 100g sublimation paper, some consist of 93gsm premium sublimation base paper (not offset base paper) + 7gsm Premium sublimation coating. And some consist of 50gsm premium sublimation base paper + 50gsm Premium sublimation coating, so the speed of drying must be different.

2. The production environment

Different production environments have different dry speed. For example,

Colombia has a raining season every year, at the raining season, the humidity is higher, the sublimation paper may dries slower than other seasons.

3. The quality of sublimation ink

If you want a better printing result, you’d better choose the high quality

sublimation ink. The main component of some bad ink is water, instead of sublimation dye. If you print with this kind of sublimation ink, the speed of drying must be slow.
