The Key to Avoid the Incorrect Output Colors in Sublimation Printing

One headache problem in sublimation printing is the incorrect output colors. But this problem is not caused by the defective system. In the whole process of sublimation printing, there are multiple pieces of image-rendering equipment, each of them will influence the colors through their own way. How to avoid this problems?

First we should know the normal reasons which lead to incorrect output colors:

1. Screen colors are usually different from the actual colors. If you don’t realize this problem, then your color is wrong from the beginning,

2. The image colors must be converted from RGB (monitor) to CMYK (printer). There is not a direct match for each RGB color.

3. The output color has slightly different with different inkjet printer

4. Different sublimation transfer paper have different influence for the output color.

5. The final materials which you want to print on.

It is easy to see that the output color are influenced by many factors. If you wan to avoid the incorrect output colors, The key is to compensate for all the variables as an image passes through the system so that the correct color is printed.

Another method is to print the chart on the sublimation transfer paper, then transfer them to the substrates you want. Only through heat pressing, you can find the real color you want. Select the color based on the chart, instead of the screen color.
