How to Use a DTG Printer Correctly?

Many customers worry about the operation before purchasing a DTG printer, they think it will be complex. But actually speaking, operate a DTG printer is much easier than you think. There are 2 working methods of DTG printer, one is for light t-shirt printing, and another is for dark t-shirt printing.

Light t-shirt printing

1. Layout of the images. Before printing, you should adjust the images you want to print on the computer. So you should know how to use the software such as photoshop.

2. Spray the treatment fluid in advance. The treatment fluid is used to make the colors become more showy.

3. Digital printing.This step is automatic.

4. Fix the color with high temperature. If you don’t have this step, you will find the color fastness is very poor. And after fixing the color with temperature, the level of color fastness can up to 4.

Dark t-shirt printing

1. Layout of the images.This step is similar to print on light t-shirt, the only

difference is that you should make a color for white ink printing.

2. Spray the treatment fluid in advance. This treatment fluid is used to create a chemical reaction with the white ink.So the white ink can adhere to the fabric tightly. Or you can’t print white ink on the t-shirt.

3. Digital printing.For printer with single print head, it usually print a layer of white ink, then print other ink.
