Print Head Cleaning, Do You Know How to Do?

For an inkjet printer, learn to clean the print head is the basic skill of daily maintenance. Today, we will show you how to clean the print head of Epson printer.

1. Switch on your printer and make sure that there is no print tasks. And please pay attention to the ink light, if it is flashing then you must replace a cartridge before you can continue.

2. Please make sure that there has sublimation paper in the tray.

3. The follow the steps below:

Click “Start”→”Devices and Printers”→double click your Epson printer→double click ”Adjust Print Options”→select the “Maintenance” tab→click “Head Cleaning.” These options may vary slightly depending on the version of Epson software installed on your computer.

4. Click “Start” when prompted to start the cleaning process. Some Epson software versions require you to click “Next” to proceed.

5. Just wait several minutes until the head cleaning process finished. Please don’t turn off the printer when the process is going on, it will damage the device.

6. Click the “Print Nozzle Check Pattern” option and then click “Print.”

7. Check the result of the cleaning by reviewing the Nozzle Check pattern sheet that printed, it will tell you whether the cleaning is successful or failure.
