Printing quality
Though there are many DTG printer manufacturers, but the quality are much different. How to check the quality of the DTG printer?You can start from this 2 aspects.
Print a black-and-white block. This is the easiest way to test the printer. If the black block is not black enough, or the white block is not white enough, it means you can pass the printer. If the DTG printer is good, then it can print pure black and white.
Check the images after printing to see whether the color is bright or not. You can prepare one images, and print the same image on the same fabric with different printer (remember the size of the images should be same). Then make a comparison, you will easily find which one is better.
Color fastness
Print the image on the t-shirt with the DTG printer is just the first step. Then you should wash the t-shirt and make sure it won’t be faded. How to check the color fastness? First gently scratch your nail over the printed area,and make sure the surface is OK after scratching.(This is suitable for dark t-shirt). The second step is washing, you can wash with your hands or machine. If it is still not fade, then it means the color fastness is strong, and the DTG printer is good.
